I got an e-mail from one of my friends earlier this week telling me that his sunglasses were featured on the runway for Peter Som, so I immediately checked it out and was very pleased to see 3 different models with shades on. The glasses are by Thierry Lasry, he just recently made his debut in the states with his unique hand made sunglasses. Oh, and his dads also an optician which explains where he gets his passion from. Yesterday and today he was working trunk shows at Henri Bendel, and his collection has made it into Brown's, & House of Petrozillia among a lengthy list of retailers. I was wondering if Som was getting into the sunglass game, but I guess not. Those glasses are hot, I loved them on the runway.
